The Trump administration has launched a military strike against Iran.
President Trump announced on social media on Saturday, June 21, that the U.S. attacked three nuclear sites in Iran.
āWe have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan,ā Trump wrote.
āAll planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site,
Fordow,ā he continued. āAll planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors.ā
āThere is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter,ā he concluded.
Trump, 78, plans to address the nation regarding the strikes at 10 p.m. EST on Saturday night.
Earlier this month, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Israel had launched strikes against Iran, which he said were necessary to kneecap Iranās nuclear capabilities.
āWe struck at the heart of Iranās nuclear enrichment program. We struck at the heart of Iranās nuclear weaponization program,
ā Netanyahu said in a video released on June 12, according to The New York Times.
āWe targeted Iranās leading nuclear scientists working on the Iranian bomb. We also struck at the heart of Iranās ballistic missile program.ā
The U.S. attack comes after Israel and Iran have been locked in conflict for days, launching a barrage of missiles and drones.
As tensions escalated, Trump on Wednesday, June 18, avoided specifics about whether heād use U.S. capabilities to target Iranian nuclear sites, according to The New York Times.
āI may do it,ā the president said. āI may not do it. I mean, nobody knows what Iām going to do.ā
āWe know exactly where the so-called āSupreme Leaderā is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there ā
We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now,ā Trump posted on Truth Social on June 17. āBut we donāt want missiles shot at civilians,
or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin. Thank you for your attention to this matter!ā
Everyoneās Saying the Same Thing After Trump Reveals How Iran Warned Him About Missile Strike on U.S. Base
Donald Trumpās comments at the recent NATO summit have sparked widespread reaction after he revealed surprising details about Iranās missile strike on a U.S. base.
Speaking in The Hague during the annual NATO gathering, Trump addressed the escalating conflict between the U.S., Israel, and Iran. Just days earlier, the U.S. had launched airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, prompting a retaliatory strike from Iran targeting a U.S. base in Qatar.
But according to Trump, Iran actually gave him advance notice of the attack.
āThey were very nice. They gave us warning,ā he said. āThey said, āWeāre going to shoot them. Is 1 oāclock okay?ā I said, āItās fine.āā
He went on to claim that the base was evacuated ahead of timeāexcept for the gunnersāand that all 14 missiles were intercepted.
āOut of 14 high-end missiles that were shot at the base in Qatar, all 14 were shot down by our equipment. Amazing stuff,ā he added.
The bizarre nature of the exchange has triggered a wave of disbelief and skepticism online, with many people echoing the same reaction: confusion and concern. Social media users questioned the legitimacy of such a cordial warning from Iran, while others expressed unease about Trumpās casual tone regarding a serious military escalation.

Trump went on: āItās like shooting a bullet with a bullet. Itās the same thing, if you think about it. 14 out of 14 and they werenāt even that surprised. I said āDo you do that well often?ā and they said āWe pretty much do, sir.āā
A video of Trump making said remarks has been shared online, and itās left people feeling a type of way.
One person replied to the post in a comment thatās been liked almost 300 times, writing: āIāve never seen a world leader, so eager to blab his mouth and reveal everything that is told to him.ā
āGod itās like nails on a chalkboard,ā added a third in regards to the presidentās ramblings.
Others raised questions about why Trump said it was āfineā for Iran to attack the Qatar base.
Somebody said: āāItās fineā as in go ahead and attack a US base?ā
Another added: āAnd if a missile had gotten through and killed members of ourĀ militaryĀ would that have been āfineā too???ā

Trump has notably been pretty public with his thoughts, taking toĀ his platform Truth SocialĀ to inform the world of what he thinks of pretty much everything, from his approval ratings to giving direct messages to Israel.
Since Trump made these latest comments, Iranās Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali KhameneiĀ has broken his silenceĀ and hit out at the āUS regimeā.
āMy congratulations on our dear Iranās victory over the US regime,ā he penned on Twitter yesterday.
āThe US regime entered the war directly because it felt that if it didnāt, the Zionist regime would be completely destroyed. It entered the war in an effort to save that regime but achieved nothing.ā
Khamenei added in a follow-up tweet: āThe Islamic Republic delivered a heavy slap to the USās face. It attacked and inflicted damage on the Al-Udeid Air Base, which is one of the key US bases in the region.ā
